Having two different areas of the business, we needed to focus on not only generating volume of purchases at a profitable ROI but we needed to build a lead generation strategy for their pre-owned purchase division.

Project 1 – Sales: Increase volume and avg. basket value of golf equipment sales & enquiries. Ensure Paid Social drives a return on investment.

Project 2: Traffic: Increase the no. of website visitors to raise awareness of their brand, with a focus on the North East to become the dominant golf retailer in the area. As part of this, raising awareness that they also BUY (not only sell) pre-owned golf equipment with existing customers and returning users.


To achieve our goals we set our Facebook campaigns up to target all stages throughout the customers buying journey (to generate not only traffic, but sales too). From Facebook users who were unaware of The Golf Factory, right through to website cart abandons & driving repeat purchasers with a loyal customer base. 

Utilising the available ‘Interest Audiences’ within Facebook we were able to target people who have shown an interest in ‘Tiger Woods’ ‘The Masters’ etc. in their local coverage area.

To compliment the above we promoted the company USPs focusing on their unbeatable prices. And who doesn’t love a pun? Our golfing pun related ads are gaining the best traction  with the market, setting them above competitors whose generic ads appear fatigued.
