The primary challenge was improving the visibility of their website locally (Bristol & the wider South West) and increasing conversions (phone calls and form submissions) over a 12-month period.

To achieve these objectives, we implemented a detailed SEO and content strategy focused on boosting local visibility and improving conversion rates:

Target Audience 

People with Mercedes vehicles needing specialist repairs. Since customers are willing to travel for specialised services, we targeted both Bristol and the Wider South West area. So, we focused on the following key areas:

Content Creation and Blogs 

We conducted keyword research to identify long-tail infromational keywords with local intent. Blogs were written on topics like ‘Most Reliable Mercedes’ to drive traffic and internally linked to landing pages.

Landing Page Optimisation 

We refreshed landing pages, focusing on short-tail commercial keywords such as ‘Mercedes Services Bristol’ to capture bottom-of-the-funnel traffic.

Technical and Offsite SEO

We implemented improvements like XML sitemaps and optimised robots.txt. Additionally, we engaged in outreach for free local directories and improved Google Business Profile.

CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)

We noticed that topical blogs were generating traffic but not converting well. To address this, we:

  • Added clear CTAs (call-to-action) throughout the blogs.
