Meet the Team – Jade

Name – Jade Smith

Role – Senior SEO Account Manager

Why did you apply to work at DNRG?

I had heard really good things about the company and I wanted to get back to a more SEO-focused role. After meeting with Neil & Jack for my initial interview, I felt that DNRG had the perfect role for me.

What got you into digital marketing?

I’ve always been a creative person and was interested in tech when I was younger but wasn’t sure what career I wanted. When I stumbled upon a Digital Marketing apprenticeship, it sounded like a perfect mix of what I enjoyed and here I am, almost 9 years later still in the field!

What’s your favourite aspect of the job?

I love the variation of work, there’s always something new to learn and challenge you to find a solution. There’s an opportunity to be creative in my day to day role which keeps me engaged in my work.

Do you have any hobbies?

I’m a busy mum of two so I don’t have too much time for hobbies, but when I do find some free time I like to sketch/paint.

What’s your dream holiday destination?

I love animals/nature so I would like to do a Safari or something similar but I’d say I’ve already been lucky enough to visit my dream holiday destination – Costa Rica. I’d love to go back sometime.

What tv show are you currently watching?

The Sinner.

Which 3 people would you invite to a dream dinner party and why?

David Attenborough, Morgan Freeman & Walt Disney. They are all absolute icons and it would be incredible to meet/speak with any of them.

Do you have a pet?

Yes, I have a rabbit (Bluey) and a crested gecko (Sammy)!
