Digital NRG is officially 5 years old!! We wanted to take some time to celebrate the past 5 years and look back on how things started and the growth we have seen over the past 5 years.
A big thank you to everyone who makes the wonderful agency what it is. You have helped build up and out many successful businesses. You have played a part of companies going from 2 tradespeople and a van to a gang of 50+ and a fleet of vans. From a business with no eCommerce activity to then turning over £10M online within 5 years. One of the most rewarding reads in the feedback we have gathered highlights the relationships and friendships that have formed. True partnerships where we have been able to offer more than digital marketing campaigns by being a consultant, a friend and an extended team player within businesses. We love these partnerships, it is what makes us who we are and long may they continue.
The Digital NRG 5 Year Timeline
2015 – “Where It All Started…”
Year 1 was where it all began! From humble beginnings with Martyn L and Alex L joining the SEO team as well as new account managers, it’s hard to believe what’s now a “shoe box” office is where it started! Alexander F also joined the SEO ranks in this founding year
2015 was one where our core services were forged, building out what Digital NRG is known for.

2016 – “Bedding In”
2016 was a huge year in terms of growth and the overall scope of the business. With higher value accounts coming in, expanding our team was of the utmost priority.
We also saw the start of the internal web development team with Scott W heading up our website offerings!

2017 – “Refinement”
To cope with the continued growth, 2017 saw the agency develop internal teams across all sectors with the addition of Joe R, Jack R, Paul R, Natalie, Ella & a range of new account managers.
We saw the propositions grow and develop and in turn an increase in the number of clients choosing Digital NRG as their Digital partner.
The growth of our internal team meant that 2017 was a year of re-location! We relocated several times until we found a space of our own that we were happy with!

2018 – “More Growth!”
2018 was an amazing year for Digital NRG. Not only for business growth but for internal development too! We saw two new SEO Executives join us, with Katy and Freya both offering their knowledge on content to push the proposition further.
We also welcomed two new business development managers into our ranks with Tom D and Nikki H working with local businesses, delivering excellent results to grow their business exponentially!

2019 – “Gear Change”
2019 saw us welcome even more new faces with the addition of Jack C, Emma P to name a few. New relationships were forged with international clients and the propositions saw further development & refinement. The SEO team expanded again as they welcomed three new executives, Kian J, Ben D & Sarah W.
We welcomed our biggest clients to date with KPIs across departments continuing to improve with a retention rate to be very proud of.

2020 – “Adaptation”
2020 forced us all to adapt & change highlighting the amazing people that we have working at Digital NRG. All of the teams supported each other with zoom calls and quizzes becoming the norm
We also had much to celebrate in 2020; Runners up at both the UK Search Awards & UK Digital Growth Awards for a range of SEO, PPC and Paid Social awards
We also welcomed two new team members (Tegan & Paul S) to the SEO & Web Team with an entirely new sales team joining in the form of Ben J & Jay H
