Appliance World regularly see 30,000+ site visitors per month. In a perfect world, every one of these potential customers would purchase an appliance. We know, however, that this isn’t the case. People will often browse, add to cart or drop off before making a purchase.

The Paid Media team here at DNRG were tasked with ensuring that these site visitors returned to the website to continue their search and ultimately purchase an appliance.

Remarketing was the obvious solution, but it was first imperative that we were showing the correct product to the correct customer.

Our solution to the problem was to create a Dynamic Remarketing campaign, split out by days passed since viewing each respective product as well as testing various product ranges to determine which generates the most sales.

We tested campaigns where we targeted a combination of 0-14 days and 15-30 days since a customer had viewed or added a product to their basket, but not purchased said product.

Facebook Dynamic Remarketing allows us to ensure that we are retargeting the customer with the exact product they have previously viewed or placed in their basket, showing this advert on Facebook or Instagram with the intention of getting them back to the website to complete their purchase.

We also tested multiple product ranges, this allowed us to see which products people were engaging with. Were they price-led, influenced by brand awareness or product availability?
