Located within a highly competitive digital landscape, Tasker Insurance is competing with some of the largest names across the insurance industry. From the launch of the new website, it was clear that Tasker Insurance Brokers were looking to generate leads from a wide range of businesses ranging from hospitality & leisure to structural engineering.

It was immediately evident that the website had the potential to rank, with the majority of keywords sitting on pages two and three when the campaign started. That being said, the website was generally only generating traffic from branded search terms and there was still a long way to go until we would be competing for the top spots.  


The first step toward success involved collaboration, so we took the time to sit down with the team at Tasker Insurance and discuss the opportunities that we had in front of us. During this meeting, we decided to focus on structural engineering insurance due to the size of the policy a lead from this sector could generate. With a timescale of just 6 months to achieve page one rankings, the heat was definitely on. 

Now it was time for us to work our Search Engine Optimisation magic! The first port of call was a refresh of the existing metadata, heading tags and content structure found on the page. Now the on-page SEO foundations were set it was time to implement a hyper-targeted internal link strategy to the ranking page. To finish this off we built a network of high authority outreach links to the landing page. The result of this work was a rank 1 for the term “structural engineering insurance”, only months after the new focus was established. Boasting 40 searches per month, this term was sure to drive a significant increase in the organic traffic being driven to the landing page. 

But this wasn’t all we achieved. 

After reviewing the website’s search console performance we noticed we had started to generate impressions from a slight variation of the seed term. This variation included the mention of professional indemnity. Using this information we optimised the landing page with this new keyword variant in mind and that changed everything! These PI related search terms had search volumes ranging from 50 – 220 per month, making them an extremely valuable source of organic traffic to the website.
